“ I had just finished with work and wanted something really good to eat so I landed at this place which was a good choice. I had the JDF tacos and they were excellent. The blue corn taco shells had the right crunch not to hard, which gave the over all taco a real treat. I enjoyed every bite and I had some dessert that involved chocolate, coconut and I think a walnut crust. Very good also. What made it better was that I got there during happy hour - WINNING!!! Added to my favorites ”
“ This is a wonderful place! It has a welcoming and calming atmosphere. I dined here Friday night. It is busy so be sure to make reservations which you can do online and that was easy to do and worked! I got the Prairie Fire (second in the blue section). It has a little kick to it (it was ok to me and I am not a fan of spicy food) with a sweetness. Plus the bourbon marinated savory. I am glad I took the chance in this one. I got it because it is a smaller size than the Prime Rib and because it looked different and fun and it is! Great sides as well. My waitress is very good sweet, attentive, knowledgeable. She recommended a beer to go with food and it works perfectly! I baby recommend this place enough. I am here on vacation. I recommended it to teachers and locals alike! It is a nice place so know that going on, but the prices seemed fair to me! ”
“ We had Kristen as a waitress and not only were her food recommendations phenomenal let me tell you how she really made me wake up and write this review. I came in with my friend and my newborn and once our food came she offered to hold him while we both ate! As a second time new mom I was thrilled that I could eat my meal while it was hot! She sat right next to us and just loved on my baby and let me tell you that was an amazing experience. We will be back for sure! ”
“ My boyfriend took us here for Valentines this year, I had never heard of it but been to Twisted Cork. IT WAS AMAZING! The best food we’ve both had in a very long time. I got the special Valentines 3 coarse menu and it was incredible. I usually get pretty full after the appetizers, however the portion sizes and lightness of each dish was perfect, I finished every bite. My boyfriend got the Sea Bass and Scallops. He also thought it was absolutely amazing. The sea bass was incredibly fresh tasting and cooked to perfection. The lobster bisque i had was the BEST i’ve ever had in town, and the dessert was absolutely amazing and exciting (they made it one time on master chef lol) We had the poached pear, I wasn’t thinking much honestly but once again, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I didn’t get my waitresses name, but she has a darker caramel colored hair with glasses. She was lovely! In both of our opinions, if they turned off the extra bright lights and kept the low hanging lights on with the candles, it would be absolutely perfect. Thank you to all the staff for making our Valentine’s day unforgettable. ”
“ Visited for the first time and will definitely be back. It was slow as the weather was nasty however the food and service didn't disappoint. Drinks were delicious, service was professional and food was delicious, will definitely return! ”
“ Wide variety of gluten-free options. Many foods have soy/miso glaze. There are peanut products on the menu but my wife who is severely allergic to peanuts did fine. The wait staff was very considerate of our needs. ”
“ Went here for date night with the wife and so glad we did. I remember when the place was a sushi restaurant, and upon walking in, the transformation of the space was pretty amazing. To me it has a trendy but rustic look. It was pretty busy when we went, which was a Saturday night, but luckily we made reservations. I think that's probably the way to go since this seems like a popular spot. The staff was welcoming, and our server was attentive and informative, given this was our first time visiting. I ended up ordering the fried chicken, the wife got the bibimbap. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts/cauliflower in Thai chili sauce appetizer which was super yum! The wife really liked her dish. Tasting it myself, I thought it was very good as well. My fried chicken was good, but it was borderline overdone. The crust was a dark brown vs golden brown, and retained a bit more grease than I would have liked. And, the meat was right on the line of being overcooked. BUT... luckily it wasn't, though it was close. Overall, my dish was tasty and the accompanying risotto and carrot puree were delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you haven't already. ”
“ We’ve been here 3 times and many more to come. Definitely get the GOAT appetizer- it’s goat cheese, cauliflower bread and strawberry jam. Not a mix I’d think I’d like but we loved it! The steak on everything was perfect. Dreaming of our next visit! It is a little pricey but it’s so refreshing to have a place to go that we know will not disappoint. :) Jenna was our server this last time and she was amazing! So attentive to our needs and sweet. Highly recommend this wonderful place! ”
